Ευεργετικές χρήσεις του αμυγδαλέλαιου - Benefits of Almond Oil

Almond oil is an age-old ingredient for health and beauty.  Its use has been recorded much before science figured out the goodness of this seed oil.  Almond oil is popularly used in Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean.

 

Owing to the generous amounts of monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, potassium, proteins, zinc, and a number of other vitamins and minerals that the seed and the oil contain, almond oil works wonders for the skin, hair, and health.

Note: There are two kinds of almond oils.  The bitter almond oil, comes from pressing bitter almonds that contains amygdalin that turns into toxic hydrocyanic acid once it is processed.  Though it has some medicinal properties, bitter almond oil cannot be ingested.  This oil can be used for topical application only.  Sweet almond oil is made from edible almonds.  This oil is used extensively for skin and hair. This oil has culinary uses too.

Σήμερα, θα ήθελα να σας συστήσω τις Υπέροχες Προκομμένες
(Οι Προκομμένες/οι - Συνταγές).  Μια πολυπληθής ομάδα στο facebook που ανταλλάσσει εξαιρετικές συνταγές και παρέχει συμβουλές πάνω στην μαγειρική και ζαχαροπλαστική.

Χρόνια τώρα στο σπιτικό μας ζυμώνουμε το ψωμί μας κάνοντας διάφορες παραλλαγές στα συστατικά και στις συνταγές.  Πριν δύο χρόνια ανακάλυψα στις Προκομμένες το ψωμάκι στην γάστρα και από τότε δεν τολμώ να πειράξω αυτή την συνταγή  (συνταγή) γιατί το αποτέλεσμα είναι θεσπέσιο.  Θυμίζει το παλιό καλό ψωμί.  Σας το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Today, I would like to introduce you to the wonderful facebook group Hard Working (Hard working - Recipes).  If you join this group, you may have the chance to exchange great recipes and tips on cooking and baking.

At least a decade, my family is enjoying our home baked bread using different recipes.  Two years ago, I discovered a recipe for bread in the pot in the Hard Working facebook group (recipe).  And from that time, I do not dare to change this recipe because the result is exquisite.  It reminds me of the good old bread.  I highly recommend it.
